The 2009 National Open will be held at the Springhill Suites, Chicago O'Hare July 11th and 12th.
The hotel is located at 8101 Higgins Road just off of Interstate 90. This is the same location as the last few years. For those of you who will be driving, it is located to the east of O'Hare. Parking is free. If you are flying into O'Hare, the hotel has a free shuttle. If you are flying into Midway and would like me to research transportation, let me know. We do not have a block of rooms or a guaranteed rate since our group is so small. I'm not sure what floor we will have this year. Check the moniters in the otel. I think it will be the 5th or the 7th.

We will use the same format as we did last year. The first day will be a swiss or round robin depending on the number of players. The second day will be a double round robin for the top four finishers from day 1. As usual, the winner will qualify for the 2009 WOC.
It is helpful, but not required, to let me know that you plan to attend. If I know you are playing, we will wait for you if you are a little late.
